The Touma Ear, Nose & Throat Museum features hundreds of examples of early ear specula and otoscopes used by physicians to examine the ear canal and eardrum over the past 200 to 300 years. The otoscope continually evolved and changed over those years. And each time it changed, it featured improvements to access,  lighting or magnification - allowing physicians to better visualize the structures of the ear.
